From Residency to Center Stage: The TestArt Premiere Season is Here!

The lights are dimming, the stages are set, and the culmination of months of cross-border collaboration is finally within reach. At TestArt, we have watched with pride as five extraordinary international teams—composed of artists and organizations from Italy, Serbia, Sweden, Slovenia, and Germany—have pushed the boundaries of creative exchange. After intensive residencies designed to fuse different cultural perspectives, we are thrilled to announce the official schedule for our 2026 World Premieres.

The Road to the Premieres

Our journey began in rehearsal rooms from Jesi to Ljubljana, where partners shared not just their artistic techniques, but their local traditions and visions. This collaborative spirit has birthed five unique productions that are now ready to meet their first audiences.

Here is where you can catch the debut performances of our 2026 season:

  • Red Team (Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini & Teatar Mladih Mišolovka): Following their intensive second residency in February, this team will premiere their work on February 21st, 2026, in Jesi, Italy.

  • Green Team (LED ART – Šok Zadruga & Centripeta): Bringing the energy of Novi Sad to the stage, their premiere is set for March 6th, 2026, in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Purple Team (Zentralwerk, Teater Nu & MALTE): This team has an ambitious spring, including an extra residency in Apiro, Italy, before their double-header premiere on May 9th (8 p.m.) and May 10th (7 p.m.), 2026, at Zentralwerk in Dresden, Germany.

Blue Team (Bunker, Collettivo Collegamenti & Asini Bardasci): Marking the height of summer, this collaboration will unveil its final work between August 22nd and 29th, 2026, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, at the very Mladi Levi International Festival!

Yellow Team (AMAT & PotatoPotato): Keep your eyes on the horizon for this duo; their much-anticipated premiere will take place in Pesaro, Italy, with specific dates to be confirmed shortly.

Beyond the Bow: The Second Show Phase

For the TestArt teams, a premiere isn’t a conclusion—it is a beginning. One of the core missions of this project is to see how art transforms when it travels. We are excited to announce that every team will take their production on the road for a Second Show in a partner country.

This second phase of our journey will bring the Red and Purple Teams to Gothenburg, Sweden, while the Yellow Team heads to Novi Sad, Serbia. Meanwhile, the Green Team will travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia, and the Blue Team will bring their vision to Dresden, Germany. These “Second Shows” represent the final bridge in our artistic exchange, allowing the works to breathe in new environments and resonate with diverse European audiences.

Stay Tuned! As we approach these dates, we will be sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from the final rehearsals and opening ticket links for each venue. Follow us on our social channels to ensure you don’t miss the chance to witness these international masterpieces in person.
